Multicultural Festival

The 2018 Multicultural Festival was a fun day and a great community event! Look for an announcement of the 2019 Festival date as soon as it is released. Details about this much anticipated and special day will be posted here as soon as they are available. Held each September, this is a signature event celebrating the rich cultural diversity of Laconia and the Lakes Region.

Laconia Pumpkin Festival!

We hope you had the opportunity to experience the Lakes Region in Autumn...NH Pumpkin Festival is a community-hosted, family friendly celebration of fall and what is unique about New Hampshire. This year's Pumpkin Festival, held October 12, 2018, was an awesome event! Held rain or shine, it is always a fun-filled event. Putnam Fund Shows


Please check local media and the City's newsletter, Laconia Links, where upcoming Putnam Fund shows will be advertised. All Putnam Fund shows are free admission, no tickets required - first come, first seated! The Putnam Fund brings premier entertainment programs to Laconia for all ages to enjoy, and is always FREE! Annual Spring Clean-Up Days/Spring Leaf Pickup


Annual Spring Clean-Up Days are held in early May each year at the Transfer Station on Meredith Center Road from 8 a.m. until noon. This year's event was held May 5 and May 12, 2018. At our annual Spring Clean-Up Days people can dispose of old tires, appliances, furniture or other items of trash free of charge. Electronic waste is also accepted for a fee. Please contact Public Works at 603-528-6379 for additional information. Details of the 2019 Clean Up Days will be announced soon.

Leaf Pickup:
This year's Annual Spring Leaf Pickup was held during the weeks of May 7 and May 21, 2018. Fall Leaf Pickup is scheduled during the weeks of October 22 and November 5. Residents can leave 10 bags of leaves during these two weeks on their normal trash pickup day and they will be picked up free of charge. Please note that leaves and yard waste must be placed in paper compost bags; they will be collected by a separate truck, not by the normal trash collection truck. Motorcycle Week


The 2018 Laconia Motorcycle Week was held from June  9, 2018 through June 17, 2018. Motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country and around the world came to the Lakes Region to celebrate the 95th anniversary of this world famous event.  Mark your calendar for the 96th anniversary of Laconia Motorcycle Week scheduled for June 8, 2019 through June 16, 2019. For information about the event, please contact the Laconia Motorcycle Week Association at 603-366-2000 or visit their website. Information concerning traffic patterns in the Weirs Beach area during Laconia Motorcycle Week will be available closer to the event.
