Registration and Loan Information

Any person living, paying taxes, or working in Laconia may become a borrower by filling out a registration card and presenting current proof of Laconia residency.

Upon registration, borrowers agree to comply with all library rules, promptly pay for lost or damaged materials, and to give immediate notice of a change of address. Library cards must be presented whenever materials are borrowed; borrowers are responsible for all materials borrowed on their card.

Children may register upon turning five years of age with a parent or guardian present. A parent/guardian must also be present to register any child up to twelve years of age.

Student cards are available to non-residents attending any school in Laconia.

Non-resident cards may be purchased by those who do not meet the above requirements. Non-resident cards may be purchased for $30 per year and may be used by the entire family.
